I'd been wanting to give it a try for a while, and my very good friend Delphine Bucher (Les Éditions de la dernière chance) and I were practically neighbors, having "co-working" afternoons in her cute little apartment in Lyon. That's where I discovered linocut printing!

Then I was offered a linocut kit (by one of my favorite humain) and haven't stopped since!
I started with an anatomical heart (I also made a glitter sticker with that drawing), which I did upside down... Beginner's mistake! I'll do it again later.
Then I continued with the hands (pictured below) and the pair of swallows.

For the lino of the rabbit & the hands, I had to think twice about the rabbit, rethinking my drawing and making it "full" because it's a bit too difficult to cut it out differently at the moment. This is the first time I've tested a metallic ink, and the process is longer, with 2 passes (one for the gold ink and one for the black ink) and 2 drying times.

Here, I've just tested a silver ink on black paper and the result is quite nice!
